Then the gun sat in the safe for 9 months. Believe me you can burn some ammo with one of these! The gun sounds like a staple gun when it fires, a loud one but you can definitely hear the return spring in the buffer tube. I shot the gun a few times to make sure it ran right.
They make the gun easier on your cheek and easier on you cocking finger. The first things I did to the gun was to install a buffer tube cover and bolt handle cover. Here's pics of the gun in the stock configuration. If you can't figure out what this gun is good for yet, well I don't know what to tell you, but I plan on using it for my local 3 gun comps. I wanted a new Front Sight with a faux compensator, a sling, some kind of foam or rubber butt pad, and a red dot sight mounted to a mount that would swing out of the way and allow the gun to fold quickly and easily. The main consideration was and is, no significant mods to the gun itself, and it must fold and function just as when stock. I hadn't had time to outfit this gun until recently and chose to make several modifications to it to enhance it's overall utility. I got the factory stock extension with the gun as well as an approved Bullet Button. The gun as it comes from the factory is not legal in CA due to it's length of 29.5" (needs to be at least 30")
Fits in a 3 day backpack easily and is the perfect compliment to my Glock 35 as it uses the same mags and ammo but gives me an honest 100 yard range.
It folds in half and is about 18" long when folded. I got this gun because it is very compact and offers a lot of firepower. Right before the end of last year I acquired a Kel -Tec Sub 2000 in.
